Hallberg Rassy’s have a hallmark reputation for quality and reliability, and are considered the Rolls Royce of sailing yachts.

Our yacht is fitted out to the finest standard. With mahogany wood below deck, and very comfortable saloons with high quality fittings, beds and sleeping areas. The latest Raymarine chart plotter and radar and a quite, powerful, reliable Nanni diesel engine. Shanti II can comfortably sleep 6 adults. However we usually sail with only 4 students

Above deck, their is a large teak lined centre cockpit and decks lead you to well maintained rigging, sails and all the safety equipment required on a training vessel. Our yacht will keep you safely sailing in all weathers, and add comfort to your sailing adventures.

We have a number of USB ports on board to keep all of your mobile devices fully charged.

Gaudeo is a Bowman 40 Mk 2, built by Rival Bowman Yachts in Southampton and designed by Chuck Paine.

Bowmans are well-regarded yachts that offer a fantastic balance of performance, comfort, and stability. These characteristics provide a sound platform that enhances your confidence as you learn the fundamentals of sailing.

As with Shanti II, she is fitted out to the finest standard. With teak wood above and below deck, she features a very comfortable saloon with high-quality fittings and sleeping areas. With modern Raymarine chartplotters and radar, available at both the chart table and the helm, passage planning is brought to the cutting edge, while paper charts remain a key part of the training. The engine is the reliable workhorse, Volvo Perkins 50. Gaudeo comfortably sleeps six adults. However, like Shanti II, we usually sail with only four students.

The well-designed cockpit of the Bowman makes sailing extra safe, with all lines led back to the cockpit and a boom that ends at the sprayhood. Our instructors will teach you how to handle the helm and controls, ensuring you feel comfortable and in control from the very first day.
